Engr Christain Ogbonna Chris is a 1979 graduate of Chemical Engineering (B.Sc Hons), University of Benin and has over 33 years experience in the Oil and Gas business. He joined Shell Petroleum Development Corporation Limited in 1980 as a well site engineer and thereafter held various Technical and Management positions. He was the Head of Production Technology before he voluntarily left SPDC in 2005 to become a principal consultant production engineer with Masurin Tec Ltd, Nigeria. He is also a production technology consultant to Petronas Carigali, Malaysia. His areas of expertise include well completion, production optimization, petroleum economics and project management. He has published various technical papers on petroleum production technology and optimization. He is a member of various professional bodies including Society of Petroleum Engineers, National Association of Petroleum Explorationist and Nigerian Society of Engineers.
Laz Nwaozor has a 1979 B.Sc. (Hons) degree in geology from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. He worked in various capacities in the petroleum engineering function of Shell Petroleum Development Company Nigeria Ltd, for 28 years, mostly as a Snr. petrophysicist, in both Nigeria and in the Shell Research Laboratory in the Netherlands. His experience spans wellsite operations, field operations including coring and core analysis, core/log integration, contracting/contracts supervision, open & cased-hole well/reservoir evaluations, data acquisition planning/management, integrated field reviews & field development programs planning/execution, area team lead, University liaison/technology coordination, staff training, coaching & mentoring, among others. He left Shell in May 2008 as a Development well delivery lead responsible for the Soku and the US$4.5 Billion Gbaran/Ubie integrated Oil and gas development projects for gas supply to the NLNG trains 4&5, as well as the Utorogu domestic gas supply project. He has since then been into petroleum engineering consultancy to date. He is married with children. He is a member of four professional bodies – NAPE, AAPG, HGS and SPE. He is a principal partner.
An experienced geophysicist with more than thirty years experience in both academic environment and Oil and Gas Industry. His major strengths are in seismology, geophysical data processing, analysis and interpretation with emphasis on large offset seismic data, velocity, amplitude and multiple suppression studies from areas of diverse and complex geology around the world. Professor Ebeniro served, for two years, as a research fellow in Geophysics at ARCO Oil and Gas Company, Plano, Texas, where he collaborated with colleagues on seismic amplitude and multiple suppression studies using data from Gulf of Mexico, Alaska, Congo, Algeria and North Sea. Other strengths are in environmental pollution and assessment in Nigeria and West Africa. Professor Ebeniro is a specialist consultant with major oil and gas companies operating in the Gulf of Guinea and especially the Niger Delta. A highly dependable, thorough, time conscious and well-organized geophysicist with excellent supervisory skill who communicates effectively in both spoken and written form. Chidi has a Bachelors degree and post graduate diploma in Geology and Hydrogeology respectively and has over 12 years experience in hydrocarbon exploration and production. Currently Chidi is working with Loulak Energy Ltd; as a geologist providing geological support to clients including many of the marginal field operators. Chidi's technical experience includes Prospect Evaluation, Well proposals, operation Geology, Well site Geology and Environmental assessment.
